BLUE COUP D’ETAT

Recently Ben and I put together a new design, still in progress but this will be it for a while. Ben switched me over to wordpress from blogger and I am still learning how to post but now I know how to put photos in with the words section and soon I’ll be learning how to post movies. The only thing I’ve really been proficient at (not very proficient in fact) is the photo section. It doesn’t really show up as a recent posting because it is in the “gallery” (don’t ask me, I know nothing) but that is where I have been posting a ton of stuff to lately. Just got a Fuji natura that Chebihentai recommended so 35mm is one of the galleries to check out. Love it. Also taking pictures with my cell phone, which has been fun. I’ll put together a section of the crazy man self-portraits that are sprinkled through out the phone photos section. Also some other cool galleries of friends, the good people in my life, and empty spaces in Brooklyn.

Professionally I’ve been very busy lately. Worked on a feature film called Lovely By Surprise directed by Kirt Gunn which we hope makes it into film festivals soon. Also did an interview piece with Derek called Black and White, an Interview with Sean Combs. Should be playing on BET, also will be for sale on DVD somewhere. Think Target or something. Not my side of the business, mercifully. Most recently working on a commercial directed by Derek. Actually on a short hiatus at the moment in Seattle, finally have some time to devote to the site. Back to work in another two weeks and then I’m going to India for a wedding and will travel about for a bit in Asia. Don’t have an apartment once I leave so who knows what will happen. Pretty exciting. That’s what’s up.
