BLUE COUP D’ETAT

as promised i am posting some new stuff but i have to go in order
so kumi (kumi a. not kumi h.), there are no pictures of you in this post, there will be one in the next post…
shanghai
walked to the regency hotel to pick up some things for young
picked up all the wrong stuff….
met up with adam wilkes at this sort of hidden joint, good food, had crab, no picture of adam
trash spilling out of door ways and swanky shanghai night spots with ethan wilkes
got a picture of ethan
stayed out until like 4am, for some reason though my flight to tokyo was at 1230pm but that is when i was supposed to arrive in tokyo so i missed my flight by a few hours but got on the next flight easily
however it turned out to be four late so i spent the whole day at the shanghai airport
smells pretty strong down in that terminal
showed up super late so there was no direct way to young’s apartment, took a bus, then a train, and then finally a cab
the guy got lost but finally i made it to park habio

just wanted to let people know who regularly check out the site that i’m sort of dealing with moving back to the city right now and i’m doing a couple cool little jobs on the side. most notably one that collaborated with young kim on while i was staying with him in japan. good news is that i found a place, bad news is that there hasn’t been any electricty in it yet….however it is supposed to be turned on tomorrow (though it was supposed to be on today, damn them! fists raised to heaven in futile anger at the omnipotent conedison). anyway getting back in the saddle, hopefully i can make the film i did with young available here but if not i will share a link when i can. there are many more installments of justin and amanda’s wedding in the works and i dream constantly of little things i can do with the film and video that i’ve been accumulating. right now i’m color correcting and resizing some photos from japan. i have two more rolls that need to be processed, black and white 1600 that i almost lost at the seattle airport. long story, suffice it to say that the good people at the lost and found mailed it out to me in new york. really lucky. that’s about it, hopefully have some new photos up soon. thanks for tuning in.
